    Hi Dr Lee,

I am 52 years old. I have been suffering from numbness in my hands for quite some time and occasionally my legs as well. I not only felt numbness but pain also during sleep and now during the day as well. The numbness comes and goes. Can you please advise what action or medicine to take? Thank you

Dear Esther, your symptoms may be due to nerve, spinal, rheumatic or other conditions. As such, you are advised to consult your GP as to the likely cause in your particular case, so that appropriate action could be taken.

      Best wishes.
